Description

I was given the suggestion to do a He-Man pic because of recent casting rumors.    When I was drawing this I originally had Skeletor at the bottom, but I remembered my first figure and it was Beastman so I did him instead, and tried to make the moon a half skull face.   I also noticed that the recent DC comics make He-Man a pretty boy, so I tried to go more barbarian in the face.

Fantastic tribute to the original Barbarian He-Man! And it is true, originally He-Man was not a pretty boy. But unfortunately the Filmation cartoon change that, and all the other depictions of the character, cartoon or comic, they had to go after this one.
